William George Angell                                     John Thomas Angell  

William George and John Thomas Angell were the original lease holders of Binerah Downs station which was taken up around 1929. The property later passed to Williams eldest son, Allan William who continued to run the property up until the time it was acquired by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife service in 1976.

This is a photo of a "young" Allan Angell milking a cow.

The above photo appears to have been taken on Binerah Downs station at the "original" cattle yards built in the early 1930's

The poor condition of the cow suggests that it was taken during a season of drought.

The above photo was taken on Binerah Downs when I was around about 3 years of age so it would have been around 1954/55
