The sheep shower.
The sheep shower was used to "shower" the sheep prior to them going through the "dip". The purpose of this procedure was to keep them clean in order to prevent "blowfly" attacks.
The sheepyards pictured above were constructed by Allan Angell in the mid 1950's and judging by the green grass, the photo's were taken during a very good season and if you take notice, you will see that the sky in these photo's looks very ominous with possible rain.
